Watched for Many Years... Sadly Missed for Two Years.

WELL ITS COMING UP TO TWO YEARS RICHARD AND I STILL HAVE NOT WATCHED A SINGLE COUNTDOWN SINCE YOU WAS ON IT, IT BREAKS MY HEART, THINKING OF YOU NOW AND FOREVER XXXXX

it is nearly 2 years now since richard died. i still feel great sadness. i was a countdown quarter-finalist in 2001. i cant watch the show now as it is too painful & not the same without richard. forever missed & fondly remembered.

I know I have already lit a candle for Mr Whitley, but he was my hero, so I feel I should light another one. When I grow up, I intend to name at least one of my children Richard. This is obviously in his honour.

Mr Richard Whiteley was my hero and I am very sorry that he died. I am very sad and I wish he was still here! I recently bought a new game, countdown, which my sister and I play every day, just before the real countdown starts.

Richard i met youonce at a party in ilkley loved countdown and loved your great love of life and love in particulaof yorkshire missed greatly bymany in yorkshire and on calendar robin
